To My Family of Patients and Friends,
I have had the sincere pleasure of serving the Sarasota community for 35 years. I have been so blessed to have a great career and a successful practice that I really enjoyed. I have always been committed to providing my family of patients with the finest care possible. Liz, the rest of our team, and I are extremely grateful to all of you for being part of our journey in life. At this time, I would like to inform you that I am formally retiring from dentistry. My last day will be May 15th. I hope you can join us for a retirement celebration at our office on May 5, 2023 and an introduction to Dr. Holden’s office on May 16. We would love for you to drop by, so I can thank you personally for being a part of my life. I will remain a part of the Sarasota community but will be spending more time with my wife, my parents, and our new place in South Carolina.
I have prayed and searched for the right individual to take care of your future dental needs. It is especially important to me to leave you with a dentist that shares my philosophy of providing the highest standard of care. I would like to introduce Dr. Melanie Holden. She has been a part of the Sarasota dental community since taking over from Dr. Chuck Janson, a Pankey-trained dentist. Dr. Holden brings a great deal of care, skill, and judgment to our profession. I am proud to say that she will be taking over all your dental needs, and I am confident that everyone will
approve of my decision once you have the opportunity of meeting her. Dr Holden’s office is conveniently located only 10 minutes from ours at 4044 Sawyer Rd. She is also easily reached at ilovemydentistsarasota@gmail.com. I am sure she would be more than happy to allay any of your fears as this transition occurs.
As a graduate of FSU with a B.A. in Sacred Music and The University of Florida College of Dentistry in 2011, she has the integrity and experience to care for you. I have no doubt she will do so to the highest level possible. Her husband also serves as an orthopedic trauma surgeon in our area, but hopefully you will never need him :). With two wonderful children, she is a blessing for this always difficult transition. She may be reached via her email, or her office phone number is 941-929-9580. Her team will look forward to hearing from you and will also be reaching out to you to make sure your dental care issues are met. Liz, Fabiola, and Eufracia will also be working at her office to help provide your routine dental cleanings. Terri, her office manager, is wonderful and very capable of making this a successful transition. She has been in the dentistry field for over 30 years.
I again appreciate each one of you who I have had a chance to care for all these years. I hope you will join me on May 5th at our office for our celebration.
